Privacy notice

Fingerprint in Mexico is responsible for the personal data you give us through this website, WhatsApp or email. This notice explains what we collect and how we protect it.

What we collect

Only what you send us:

  • Contact details: name, email, phone or WhatsApp.
  • Details of your case: the service requested, city, the country and state that issued the document, the authority you will present it to, and any comments you write.
  • Files you attach (photos or scans of documents), which may contain identifying personal data.

What we use it for

To review your case, reply, quote and provide the service you order; to send you a receipt for your request; and to follow up on your case. We do not use your data for advertising and we do not sell it.

Where it is stored and who it is shared with

Forms and files are stored encrypted on Cloudflare’s infrastructure, and notifications are sent by email through an email delivery provider; these providers may have servers outside Mexico. Only our team has access.

To provide the service, we share only what is necessary with the authorities that issue or apostille your documents (for example the FBI, the RCMP or a Secretary of State), with approved fingerprint channelers, with peritos traductores and with courier services.

How long we keep it

For as long as your case lasts and as needed to meet legal obligations or handle follow-up questions. Then we delete it.

Fingerprint images are kept only while your FBI or RCMP request is processed, and are deleted afterwards; each new request needs a new set of fingerprints.

Your rights (ARCO)

You can ask to access, correct or delete your data, object to its use, or withdraw your consent, by writing to [email protected]. We will reply within the time limits set by law.

Changes to this notice

We will post any changes on this page.
